Program Details
The program is intended to provide housing stability and prevent families and individuals from losing their homes due to the economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program's goal is to assist those facing monetary hardships due to a reduction in their income due to job loss, business income loss, or reduced work hours, thus placing their housing in jeopardy.
Eligible households may receive assistance if there is a demonstrated or imminent need and if program funding is available. An example of imminent need is with the elimination of the additional unemployment benefit of $600 per week, it is expected that households may no longer be able to make their rent or mortgage payment. Assistance will be provided directly to your landlord.
